Unlike most commercial laundries, a not-for-profit organisation supporting people who have a lived experience of disadvantage who struggle to secure employment.
We’re a self-sustaining social enterprise that helps change lives. We work for purpose not profit; utilising our commercial laundry to reinvest into our social mission.
When you use Vanguard Laundry, not only do you get a high quality linen service, but you will also help provide jobs and training for local people who need a hand up.

Our new custom-built commercial laundry uses state-of-the art technology aimed at delivering significant economic and environmental savings for customers.
Whether your business is in healthcare, aged care, hospitality, accommodation, facilities management, or agri-business, we promise to apply the highest quality, service and environmental standards.
And, because we are a social enterprise, when you use Vanguard Laundry, you’ll be helping to create more jobs and career development for people in the Toowoomba region who have experienced disadvantage and struggle to get back into the workforce.
Our mission is to develop a sustainable, profit-making business that empowers equal opportunities for disadvantaged individuals. We empower personal independence through earning a fair income, reducing reliance on welfare, increasing social connection and supporting health service programmes.

Our social impact centre
In addition to our commercial laundry, Vanguard is proud to offer an employment launch pad for disadvantaged people who are struggling to secure gainful employment. Paid employment provides security, economic wellbeing and an opportunity for social engagement. At Vanguard, we offer our employees access to:

- Work placement pathways with employment partners.
